After the incredible success of Ramblin' Aid 2024 — where we raised over $9,000 for the Georgia Tech SGA Emergency Fund — we knew we had to do it again! Ramblin' Aid 2025 is set to be even bigger and better, with the same great music, amazing food, and good times you remember. Join us Friday of Homecoming Week as we come together to celebrate, reconnect, and raise $50,000 for Georgia Tech’s STAR Services, giving students in crisis the support that they need. Let’s make more memories — and an even bigger impact — together!
Ramblin' Aid is more than just an event — it's a celebration of the Georgia Tech spirit, a tribute to lifelong friendships, and a chance to change lives. It’s a night filled with great music, heartfelt moments, and the joy of coming together for a cause.
Mark your calendar for Homecoming and get ready to sing, dance, and make memories — all while helping Yellow Jackets in need.
Every year, Ramblin' Aid features an electrifying show by Dan Shinedling (fondly known as "Dan the Man" to the Georgia Tech community). His music gets the crowd singing along and dancing all night. He's also joined by special guests the Concord Grapes and the unforgettable Dan the Man's All Star Band featuring members of the original Katzenjammer!!!
From the moment you arrive, the energy is contagious. Think Homecoming celebration meets concert vibes—there's dancing, laughter, and plenty of Georgia Tech spirit to go around.
Throughout the evening, guests can bid in a silent auction on exciting items and experiences. It's a chance to win something special—all while contributing to the fundraising goal.
While Ramblin' Aid is tons of fun, it’s ultimately about helping students.
In 2024, we proudly raised over $9,000 to support the Georgia Tech SGA Emergency
Fund, which provides emergency grants to students facing sudden financial hardships
while in school.
In 2025, we're setting our sights even higher — with a goal to raise $50,000 in support of
the many programs of Georgia Tech’s STAR program (Students’ Temporary Assistance
and Resources).
STAR (Students’ Temporary Assistance and Resources) is a network of programs
providing students with everything they need to thrive and flourish during their time at
Georgia Tech. We believe every Georgia Tech student can succeed, but every student’s
situation is unique. Sometimes an unfortunate circumstance can derail a student’s
academic progress, and temporary assistance is needed to get back on track. Also,
access to resources varies among students; it is imperative that all students have
access to the resources they need. Through the STAR Network, students receive the
temporary assistance and resources they need to succeed at Georgia Tech.
When you attend Ramblin' Aid or donate, you're helping Georgia Tech students stay on
their feet and continue their journey toward graduation.
